How Internal Links Rank My Websites in 2019. A Lost Forgotten Art
Shown Step by Step.
I’ve been slowly reducing my dependance on external links for some years now as I have noticed the power of internal backlinks. Google even has a section in its webmaster pages for the number of internal links each of your page has, so there has to be something to it. Whenever I make a new post I open up the last 10 posts and point a link to the new post inside the content. It doesn’t matter what anchor text I can use. Sometimes I even use single words likeĀ “new”, “and”, “for” etc.
If the post is somewhat related to the post I want to link to then I’ll use a relevant anchor text for the internal link. I take this seriously. The pages that do well in my webmaster console for search impressions, I double down and send even more internal links from more posts on my website. I can assure you that there have been significant rank jumps that I can attribute to the influx of internal links from other blog posts. At this point, I actually anticipate the rank improvements after an internal linking campaign. Haven’t been disappointed by Google yet.
Here is a detailed video showing how I do this and the results it is currently bringing me.
I tell you, if well mastered and targeting the right keywords, this tactic may be all you need to start ranking and getting traffic.
Why Chase Vanity Keywords??? I’m Done With That BS…
I once heard Daryl Rosser of Lion Zeal fame say, “I’m not in the SEO game to prove I can rank for hard terms, I’m in to rank easy terms that make me money”. This is so true. Why wait months/years to rank for a top tier keyword when you can easily rank for many many long term keywords that are low hanging ripe fruits. Most of these keywords and traffic can be gotten just with a solid on-page optimization strategy.
I have mastered this and apply it to my blog posts with great results and minimal effort. Give it a try.
I hope to hear from you if you have tried internal linking and /or if you plan on following my guide in the video above.
As always, I wish you the best in your endeavours.
